WHAT TO EXPECT

What does a pet loss grief session look like?

Navigating the loss of a beloved animal companion can be unfamiliar territory. Regina fosters a gentle, safe space tailored entirely to where you are in your grieving process.

Before your session

During your session

After your session

You will complete an intake form explaining your loss, goals, and feelings during your time of grief.

You will meet one-on-one with Regina and speak in depth about the profound bond between you and your companion animal. You will discuss the feelings you are experiencing following their loss or terminal illness diagnosis. During this time, Regina will share information and normalize the grieving process and subsequent feelings that accompany it. Together, you will work through your goals and identify coping strategies and plans for continued support.

Regina will email you a summary of your session, recapping the information covered and links to additional resources. You will have the choice of an optional follow-up session if you feel the need for additional support.
